WOW!! Is this a dragonhead in the front of the picture? lovely -- that stone is simply wonderful. the formal symmetry helps heighten the sense of stillness. (this whole series is really stunning work.) I can hear the silence. Wonderful tones and clarity.

Your "Silent Places" series is excellent, I will look forward to the next chapter. Well you have pulled it off once again... and in style. Hope this series keeps going for a long time.

I love your silent places, all of this photos are genial. This is quite simply beautiful in all aspects - aesthetic and technical. Your work expresses so well the calm thrill of what you call silent places. While not one for rankings, I would put this in my top 5 pinholes of 2008.

Fantastic work, Juergen. I hope to see a lot more. This is great, with a real sense of depth to the picture. That's cool - you really know the result of the picture before pressing the shutter! I like the master touch.

I love the way, the sense of motion in the foreground sets off the depth of the composition. I agree super series, majestic photography. It doesn't get any better. congratulations!
